It is designed to meet U.S. state privacy laws, including California CPRA/CCPA, Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, and Utah UCPA (collectively, “State Laws”).

8) Your Privacy Rights (by State)
Depending on your state, you may have rights to:
- Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
- Delete personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising and certain profiling.
- Data portability (receive a copy).
- Appeal a decision (VA/CO/CT).
- Non-discrimination for exercising rights.
How to Exercise
Email hello@proofofpick.com with subject “Privacy Request” and specify your state and request (access, delete, correct, opt-out, etc.). We will verify your request (e.g., by email confirmation and matching signals). You may use an authorized agent as allowed by your state law.
Response timeframes follow applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable when permitted).
9) Children’s Data
Our site is for a general audience and not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16.
10) Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, and audit requirements. Typical periods are noted in §2 and may vary by tool and contract.

- “Shine the Light” (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83): We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA)
- You may request access, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising and certain profiling.
- (VA/CO/CT) You may appeal our response by replying “Appeal” to the decision email.
Nevada
- We do not “sell” covered information as defined by Nevada law. Nevada residents may still send an opt-out request to hello@proofofpick.com.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, provide a more prominent notice.
